About the Showcase

The Technology Showcase is a curated component of the Sol Symposium program, providing a structured venue for emerging technology organizations to present their work to a highly selective audience of researchers, academics, government officials, and institutional partners.

This is a presentation opportunity — not a competition, pitch event, or investment forum. Participation is by invitation following a review process conducted by the Sol Foundation.

The Audience

Sol Symposium attendees represent an unusually concentrated gathering of serious researchers, credentialed scientists, senior policy officials, and institutional funders actively engaged with frontier science questions.

  • Academic researchers & principal investigators
  • Government science and policy officials
  • Institutional funders & foundation principals
  • Technology entrepreneurs & technical leads

Technology Focus Areas

  • Detection & Measurement
  • Aerospace & Propulsion
  • Quantum Technologies
  • Neuroscience & Neurotech
  • Alternative Energy Systems
  • Space-Time Applications
  • Advanced Materials
  • Communication Applications
  • Remote Sensing
  • Atmospheric Science

Focus areas are illustrative. Selection centers on relevance to Sol Foundation research interests, technical rigor, stage of development, and the ability to deliver a clear presentation for a multidisciplinary audience.

Thursday, March 11 · Program Format

How the Showcase runs.

The Showcase runs across Thursday's professional program: selected organizations present in a shared venue through live demonstrations, short technical presentations, and staffed display stations, with curated time for the audience to engage directly.

Presenting organizations are grouped by focus area and scheduled alongside the day's track studios and workshops. The full running order is published with the Thursday agenda.

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by the Sol Foundation against the Showcase's criteria. Selected organizations are notified and confirmed ahead of the program; participation is by invitation following review, not first-come registration.

A Note to Presenting Organizations

The Showcase is a presentation opportunity, not a sales or investment forum. Organizations should come prepared to share the substance of their work with a rigorous, multidisciplinary audience.
